Circle’s USD Coin (USDC) and its upgraded Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP V2) will be integrated into Sam Altman’s World Chain, enabling seamless conversion of bridged USDC into native stablecoins. The collaboration, announced on May 1, follows World Chain’s limited U.S. expansion and targets its nearly two million verified users.

CCTP V2, introduced in April 2023, enhances efficiency for cross-chain USDC transfers. The move underscores growing institutional adoption of stablecoin interoperability solutions.
